The Bunker looks to provide sleepless nights!

Beauty and mystery lurks in the depths

The Bunker releases this week and looks to create one of the most unique gaming experiences we’re yet to witness on consoles. Indie developers Splendy aim to completely immerse players with fully interactive live action gameplay. There is no doubt that horror games are on the rise, we probably have the brilliant P.T to thank for this. There’s also no doubt in saying that not all horror games provide a truly terrifying experience, yes the new Resident Evil demo provided a few jump scares, but i was never really that hesitant to turn the next corner.

There really is no denying that The Bunker looks both twisted and terrifying, i’m interested to see if the live action approach creates a more immersive gaming experience? The game tells the story of John, the sole survivor of a nuclear blast that obliterated earth. John has taken up refuge in a government bunker for the last 30 years, one by one the other survivors have died off, now he is the only one left. The bunker holds many secrets, John must confront his suppressed memories to survive the horrors of The Bunker.

We cannot wait to get our hands on this unique horror experience, by the looks of it though we probably wont be playing this at night. The Bunker releases on PC, Xbox One and PS4 on 20th September, check out the haunting live action trailer below.

Lewis started Indie-Credible in the summer of 2016 after struggling to find a website that justifiably covered indie games. Although he can't deny his love for some AAA games (especially the Final Fantasy series) his true love lies in the indies - people say he plays too many indie games, but we all know that's not possible.
